TSPTR Spring Summer ’15

Vietnam War references have not seen such prominence in menswear since the days of FUCT’s off-shoot brand, Dorothy’s Fortress. Nonetheless, despite its increasing prevalence, few can deny that this unique brand mature streetwear has been well received. There are few who have been doing it better than TSPTR, whose unique blend of humour, Peanuts iconography and tiger camouflage has resulted in something which is more an authentic homage than mawkish nostalgia. This is largely down to their meticulous approach to referencing and an apparent appreciation of the unique era of style. Spring Summer 15 sees the brand collaborate with Ebbets Field Flannels, as well as ELMC on some military grade kit bags. Overall, the collection is more of the same: a contemporary take on American counter culture, executed to extremely high standards.
