The Black Lodge – Tom Bagshaw
British artist Tom Bagshaw has announced the availability of all new and original work entitled “The Black Lodge“. Reportedly taking a year and a half to complete, the series consists of eighteen one-off prints on heavy cotton rag stock, mounted on board, varnished and framed and comes with a COA.
Tom, also known under the moniker Mostlywanted, enlisted the help of fellow illustrators, artists, and even a tattooist as models for this series including Teresa Oaxaca, Toni Moore, Michelle Romero and Aviva Artzy. For his personal work he has developed a highly rendered digital painting style through which he explores themes of fantasy, beauty and mysticism and this is continued through this series. The prints are already selling out so be quick. Prices range from £350 – £550 and I would be surprised if any are left by the end of today.
Also available is The Black Lodge book limited to 100 numbered, signed and embossed copies. Containing the collected Black Lodge portraits together with additional complimentary works, the book is produced on a soft eggshell stock, perfect bound and finished with a velvet laminate and spot UV cover.
