Mamnick’s New Tokyo Flagship Store
Continuing with the theme of Northerners opening really nice stores, Sheffield-based Mamnick have recently opened a retail space in Tokyo, Japan. Having watched the brand steadily grow over the past few years, eschewing the traditional cycle of seasonal releases and cliched pitfalls of a ‘Made in England’ brand, it’s great to see such passion and nous paying off on an international scale. The shop itself mixes Mamnick’s humble offering, as they steadily expand their range, along with a selection of vintage pieces, ranging from Barbour to Stone Island and Trickers. With the brand still in its infancy, it will be interesting to see how Mamnick founder, Thom Barnett, develops his unique blend of craftsmanship, cycling and vintage. If you have the time, check out his brief interview on the new store here.
