Get On Down – Record Store Day Reissue

Words by Bossman75

Another site ran the news today that Get On Down will be releasing a special quadruple-vinyl box set of Jurassic 5’s ‘Quality Control’ comprising of both vocal and instrumental versions of the album, and the Wu Tang Clan’s ‘Protect Your Neck’ which is pressed on black and yellow vinyl. This announcement and many of the products currently available through Get On Down could warrant a post all of their own, however my attention was immediately drawn to “The label will also release Cypress Hill’s double A-sided debut single for April 18th, this year’s Record Store Day.” Featuring the original artwork, as seen in my recent Bounty Hunter post, you will be able to get ‘The Phunky Feel One’ / ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man’ which comes with a special embossed sleeve. In the mean time fans of the Hill can pick up a special red vinyl release of one of the most influential and important hip-hop albums ever, Cypress Hill, featuring audio remastered from the original source tapes for under twenty bucks HERE.
