CONS Pro Leather Skate Trash Talk
Having spent the summer doing festivals, and fresh from a gig with Ice-T’s Body Count, hardcore punk band Trash Talk have announced via their Facebook page a sneaker collaboration with Converse. Converse working with musicians and bands isn’t new, yet adding the Sacramento natives to the roster is interesting especially so in that label mates Golf Wang having worked with Vans already, so maybe it’s good to have a foot in each major skate camp. The Pro Leather hi-top was originally worn as a basketball shoe by the likes of Dr J Erving in the late seventies, available in black and white leather, should be more than capable of taking a beating in the pit. Just what input Lee, Garrett and Spencer had isn’t readily available, but some nice touches include the No Peace album logo on the soles and California Babylon inside the tongues. Let’s see how the lunarlon innersoles stand up to tour life for the band.
