Be Street Magazine #25

bestreet“Be Street is a multi-platform media brand about Art – Style – Music – Action Sports and more” This quarterly magazine is easily the best magazine I have never read.

Launched in 2008, Be Street has become a major quarterly publication distributed in 15 countries worldwide. reinforces the contact with the magazine’s readers, attracts new fans and provides a continuous flow of news. Sharing exclusive contents and the latest news, the website operates as an indispensable additional stream of info to the print magazine.

Be Street offers both physical and online content, in it’s native French and also English, and is the closest yet to offering everything that interests me. In addition to the magazine, they also have an online shop offering clothing, accessories (such as patches and phone cases) and collectible toys. Be Street basically is offering a one stop shop for all things impressionnant, and are doing it well. A one year subscription runs in at €20 with the majority of back issues available also.

Besides it’s content, the cover artists are a real strength for the magazine and include the likes of MISHKA, D.FACE, Shepard Fairey, Ron English, SSUR, NYCHOS and more. Be Street doesn’t slack on it’s features and boasts interviews with the likes of Schoolboy Q, Jim Greco, Pose, DP Customs, Nigel Sylvester, Jeff Staple, Zach Shuta, Flying Lotus, Jun Cha, Mix Master Mike, Die Antwoord and a shit ton more. This issue’s cover is by our favourites CYRCLE. The Dougs have been throwing up murals around the globe since their exhibition earlier this year at Stolen Space gallery in London, and it’s good to see them get exposure from such a relevant magazine. Along with the cover, you can read an interview with the guys as well as features on Kevin Gates, Little Dragon and Aaron De La Cruz.

Get your hands on everything you can here.
