A Look Inside Oi Polloi’s New London Store

Oi Polloi’s arrival in London is something which has been mooted for the best part of three years. That rumour is now a reality, with the Manchester-based retailer recently opening in the capital’s Soho district. The shop still maintains its very Northern aesthetic – one that practically defined the “heritage” trend within menswear for five years – mixing niche Japanese brands and refined workwear alongside sportswear that takes cues from the subcultural. In an illuminating interview with Oi Polloi’s co-founder Steve Sanderson, our friend Sam Diss explained that the shop’s message would not be diluted in order to appeal to a London crowd – and nor should it, as their unique, humorous standpoint is something which acts as a real point of difference to most shops. The store is now open for your perusal at 1 Marshall Street, but in the meantime, check out some photos above of what’s on offer.
